The Diocese of Honduras has made a commitment to become self-sufficient within the next five years.
THE NEED
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Honduras Development Network is a clearinghouse for funds in support of the Diocese of Honduras. Under the umbrella of the Diocese of Honduras, there are 7 Bilingual Episcopal Schools and 55 clergies that reside over parishes located around the country of Honduras. Although the schools are mostly self-sufficient, the parishes are not and need a business plan to become self-sufficient.

Developing, Encouraging, and Facilitating partnerships between the North American and Honduran churches.

Supporting the operations of the Diocese of Honduras as it moves to self-sufficiency.

Increasing education quality to help break the high poverty rate and combat the high drop-out rate/grade repetition.

Identifying and networking gifts and needs of both North America and Honduras to fulfill God's mission in Honduras.
